Use Copy Paste Character to insert proper typographic characters, such as “quotation marks”, the interrobang ‽, or simply use it to spice up your e-mail messages, tweets, or text messages with happy faces, snowmen or → arrows ←.
The character is copied to your clipboard immediately when touched, so you can easily launch the application, touch the character you want, exit and paste your clipboard into any application!
The application also reads any text in your clipboard, so if you have copied something from another application and open Copy Paste Character, it will add the text in the clipboard, making it easy to extend your text with awesome symbols.

Cute and handy little app for typing not-so-common characters on your iPad or iPhone. I like the icon, easy on the eyes.
Unfortunately, a handful of folks have given this app one star because it didnt give them more Emoji. Well, thats not what it does.
Another reviewer complained that "most of these icons are already on the iPhone." Well, thats actually what the app is for.
CopyPasteCharacter exposes a number of special characters *already on your device* that are difficult or impossible to type without the app. Thats what it does and it does it well.
To the reviewer who was so upset that there are more symbols on the website than in the app: Im guessing you were viewing the website on a computer. Say it with me, everyone: There are more symbols on your computer than on your phone.
Awesome update! Thanks for adding more characters. And unless Im mistaken, there appear to be some colors now. Keep up the good work! Definitely one of my favorite applications!
Some bad moments
I paid for it and only have a few characters. It has not all characters available as on the website.
On the website are a lot more. I thought it is the other way around.
The app that costs .99 has less than a quarter of the symbols that the website has for free. I dont even know why there is an app with this little to offer? I want my money back, Martin. Also, some of the symbols are ones regularly found on the keyboard. Not happy with this purchase.
I spent a dollar on absolutely nothing, this app has hardly any symbols, even some advertised are not there. Do NOT waste your money on this app
I say this with zero hyperbole. This is the worst app. It is nothing like the website.
No stars. False advertisement and product misrepresentation is a crime. Ill be contacting you very shortly.
